Roy Martin

Roy Martin – Rustic Stone & Wood

Roy is an amateur stone carver and describes his work as ‘Rustic’. He works with used or cast-off stone, getting a feel of what would like to be created with each piece. His style is influenced by Celtic art and its intricate knots and crosses. His recent pieces interlink family names on broken, rough or smooth stone to create unique and memorable pieces of bespoke artwork. He also works with recycled pallets to create interesting pieces with large angels, hearts and heart sculptures.

Roy lives in Sutton Coldfield with his family and when not creating buckets of stone chippings or wood shavings, he mentors people to find their passions and soulful purpose so they can be successful doing what they love.
