Natalie lives in Malvern where she is a Green Party District and County Councillor. She is Deputy Leader of Malvern Hills District Council and political lead for Housing and Health. Her responsibilities include developing strategies and partnerships to support residents dealing with cost of living pressures and initiating policies to alleviate homelessness.
Until recently, Natalie managed the Community Larder at The Living Room in Hereford. Unfortunately funding for her role has come to an end, meaning that her role has too. During her time working at The Living Room, Natalie has developed a deeper understanding of the needs of a wide spectrum of the community, including people who are struggling to feed their families, people who do not have the facilities to prepare a healthy meal, and people who want to eliminate food waste.
Her previous employment includes coordinating Veg Box Sales at The Fold Organic Farm in Bransford, being a senior manager in Worcestershire’s Libraries and Learning Service and youth and community work.
Natalie has been vegetarian since the age of 14 when she heard The Smiths Song ‘Meat is Murder’ and Vegan for 10 years. She tries to tread as lightly on our planet as possible, and encourages others to do the same.
