Ethos- (Extending the Hand of Support) is the charity responsible for The Living Room and Hereford Homeless Support which both work across Herefordshire.
The Living Room is a safe place for anyone.
We are a Café, a Community Larder and a safe Community Space, all in the centre of Hereford.
We are a grassroots organisation that has developed organically, responding to the needs of our community.
We welcome everyone, and work on a model of asset-based community development empowering our community to get involved to take action and help each other.
We offer groups to improve wellbeing and reduce loneliness and isolation.
Our community larder is not just about food waste and the impact on our environment its about diverting this food to people who need it to, through our café we feed homeless people and also families that are struggling.
We offer a wide range of support to refugees as well as people struggling with the cost of living.
We are passionate about bringing businesses, Charities and individuals together to work collaboratively to reduce food waste and address local issues.
