If we nurture Nature, Nature will nurture us

Hellens Garden Festival 2016 was magnificent!  The Festival team would like to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors, supporters, exhibitors, demonstrators, poets, musicians, activity providers, and our visitors.  You once again came together to make such a beautiful, laid back, pleasurable weekend for everyone.

The torrential rain eased into a gentle dampening mist on Saturday, releasing the scents of the glorious plants and flowers.  Once again on Sunday the early morning rain eased, and by afternoon we basked in glorious sunshine.  Water was clearly to mark this year’s festival when a local pipe burst necessitated a slightly earlier end to our pleasures, but the good will and good humour of all demonstrated the benefit of spending time in such a healthy and healing environment, celebrating nature and nurturing our souls.
