Hellens Garden Festival is a festival with a difference that offers inspirational ideas, services and plants for growing our gardens, sustaining ourselves and the earth. We believe in creating a celebratory atmosphere in which we can share experience, discuss solutions, learn from one another and nature.
A not for profit community interest company, the Festival proceeds directly support other local charities who help to sustain and care for our community and the environment. The Festival promotes sustainable practices, those that are harmonious with nature, rather than detrimental to it.
We showcase local producers, artists and craftspeople, creating an environment in which they may share their knowledge, skills and practice with a broad audience. Each year the festival program changes to reflect a different theme that we feel is timely, socially and environmentally relevant. See our memories page for more information.
The Festival works closely with the Hereford Steiner Academy, the local Scouts group and a range of other organisations and charities, all of whom share the aim of nurturing the well-being of life on our planet.
We are always looking to make connections with others who share these aims and believe there is much to be gained in working together.
